ABOUT ME
As a born-and-raised Long Island entrepreneur driven by a passion for creativity, hard work, and a dream, I've proudly built a socially conscious empire. While it may be considered small by some, it's my mini empire that continues to grow.
From a young age, I knew I wanted to own a business, inspired by the entrepreneurial legacy of my parents and grandparents. As a designer and creative, I believe in limitless possibilities. My diverse passion extends from floral design and crafting to creative branding and marketing. I find joy in helping businesses and fellow entrepreneurs plan their success journey in a creative way.
My role is consistently centered on utilizing my exceptional attention to detail to generate and conceptualize artistic ideas. Whether coaching individuals to embrace discomfort and become their best selves or tackling various projects each week, I take pride in every aspect of my work – from the initial creative thought process to the final delivery.
So Let's Go Back In Time Just A Bit So I Can Give You A Little Bit Of A Better Idea Of How I Got To Develop These Skills And Do Something I Love So Very Much! When I Was In High School Cosmetology Had Struck My Attention, I Had Attended Trade School And Got Licensed To Be A Nys Board Certified Cosmetologist. I Had Applied For Many Salon Positions And Worked In A Handful Which Quickly I Had Learned The Cosmetology Industry Just Wasn’t For Me.
I Was A Bit Flustered And Confused Because I Really Had No Idea What I Would Want To Do For The Rest Of My Life. During This Time While I Was A Confused 18 Year Old Just Trying To Figure Out If It Was Just The Salon I Didn’t Like Or The Industry As A Whole I Always Held A Position Working At My Family’s Flower Shop.
The Flower Shop Was A Part Of Me, It Was My Roots And Something I Was Proud To Say My Grandparents Had Created Back In 1959. Many People Would Ask Me How Long I’ve Been Working At The Florist And My Answer Still To This Day Has Always Been The Same “Since I Am Five”. I Wasn’t Lying, I Really Have Been Working At The Flower Shop Since I Was Five Years Old. Every Saturday As A Little Girl I Would Join My Nanny At The Flower Shop Which At The Time She Owned. I Was Eager To Learn And Help Customers, Cut And Design Flowers (If You Want To Call It Designing Back Then), Dust Shelves And Fill Water Tubes... And Of Course My Favorite Was Rearranging The Stuffed Animal Display.
It’s Now All Starting To Make A Lot More Sense. I Had Been Planted Right Where I Belonged The Whole Time. But Just Like Anything In Life It Took Me A Little While To Bloom. My Creative & Crafty Mindset And My Passion And Desire To Create Beautifully Visual Floral Arrangements And Other Visually Appealing Displays Has Been A Part Of My Roots For Much Longer Than I Had Even Realized. And Now Here I Am 25+ Years Later And The Third Generation Owner Of The Flower Shop That I Started Working At When I Was Just Five!
